Silver Anniversary Wedding Cake
I made this wedding cake for my parents' 25th "silver" anniversary. I used buttercream stencils with white frosting for the top and bottom layers. To create subtle contrast, I gently sprayed these sections with edible silver glitter. I covered the middle layer entirely in edible silver glitter. I had originally experimented with adding a silver drip on the sides of the layers, but that took away the simplicity and elegance I was striving for with this cake. Lastly, I placed small synthetic silver around the cake and added a silver rhinestone heart cake topper on the top!
