Taylor Swift's "folklore" Inspired Cake

 

This cake was based on Taylor Swift's album, "folklore" (one of my personal favorites!). The album cover is a greyscale photo of her in a forest, surrounded by tall trees. That inspired the chocolate trees on top of the cake, made with chocolate pocky and green-colored melted chocolate. One of her most popular merch items in this era was a cardigan that had three silver stars patched onto the sleeve, drawing from the lyric "you drew stars around my scars" from her song "cardigan." I added this pattern to the cake with fondant stars painted silver with edible paint, along with mini silver star sprinkles around the sides of the cake.
